FAMILY SUPPORT

WE SUPPORT YOU AND YOURS

FLEXIBLE WORK SCHEDULE

Work the hours that work for you.

At ATEC, we believe that Our Mission and Our People are equally important. That’s why we let you choose your work schedule to fit your needs. Working within our core hours, you can choose a start time that works for you. Whether you need your evenings free, hate early mornings, or would rather work fewer than 5 days a week, ATEC has flexibilities to support your work life without sacrificing your home life.

TIME OFF FOR ILLNESS AND EMERGENCIES

Out Sick.

When you are sick, you shouldn’t have to come to work. Period. That’s why all ATEC employees begin earning paid time off for illness or medical appointments from their first day on the job. You will earn 13 days (104 hours) of medical time off every year which can be used for yourself or your family. You can also use this time off for funeral or bereavement for a family member.

104 hours earned annually may be used for:

Illness or incapacitation
Medical appointments
Serious medical conditions
Care of family member
Funeral or bereavement for family member

If you don’t use these days, they are carried over to the next year. They never expire and there is no limit on the number of days you can bank.  That is a benefit 79% of for-profit companies don’t offer*.  For example, an employee who banks all of their sick time off for 10 years will have a balance of 1,040 hours, or 26 weeks of paid time off.  That’s the equivalent of a 100% paid short term disability insurance, all for no extra cost.

In some cases, you can even borrow the sick leave you will earn in future years to use for yourself or a family member with a serious medical condition.

You also have the option to donate your personal time off to employees who have a leave or medical emergency.

VACATION AND PAID TIME OFF

ALWAYS be home for Christmas. And Thanksgiving. And Memorial Day.

Unlike many for-profit companies, ATEC gives you 11 PAID holidays from your first day on the job. That’s 80 hours of vacation time that you don’t have to use to see family or hit the beach for a long weekend with friends.

FEDERAL HOLIDAYS

Plus, you will earn personal leave days and sick days as soon as you start work—no waiting periods for new employees.
